I have a bachelor's degree in Primary School Special Education. I also have a Master of Education in Learning Disabilities with an emphasis on Secondary and Young Adult Education.
Experience
I have over 20 years of experience as a support teacher for children with learning difficulties. I have had extensive experience working with students of all ages, including adults. I have taught in the US and Australia. I am able to incorporate alternative learning techniques to meet the educational requirements of each student. In addition, I can train teachers, parents, and peers to implement step by step learning programmes and strategies. These strategies can assist students as they work toward their educational potential. I am able to focus on the most relevant material for each student in one-on-one sessions. I am able to help students with a range of reading, writing, and math topics. I can also help students with learning difficulties that include ADHD, dyslexia, and ADD.
